"OMG, Can you say you LOVE your Career...I can, I have fun doing what I do and get to enjoy a lot of "New Experiences,"  at the same time as it develops for the people I have supported over the years, here at Community Bridges... I call it my Kodak Moment, and capture it in my heart and cherish it because it happened."

Monika Millette – Direct Support Professional

"I started with Community Bridges a little over 13 years ago.  I began as a Direct Support Provider and have worn several hats since.  As a family member of an individual with disabilities, I understand what families and individuals go through on a day to day basis.  I truly believe in Community Bridges’ unwavering mission to provide the most innovative supports and services to individuals and their families within their own communities.  I strive to make it my mission to do the very best for the individuals and families I serve.  There really is nothing more satisfying than to know that I did a little something to help these individuals have successful and happy lives. That is priceless."

Susan Aughey – Behavioral Health Case Manager

"Although I’ve only been with Community Bridges just shy of three years, I continue to be amazed by the dedication and commitment Community Bridges employees have for the people we serve.  Every day is a learning experience.  We work as a team and come together to help others when it is needed."

Samantha Field, M.S. – Certified START Coordinator

"I made the best decision to accept the job at Community Bridges as a Nurse Trainer in May 2014.  The most important part of my job is ensuring our individuals receive optimal health care and that the Direct Support Providers are well educated on giving medications safely.   I love working for Community Bridges because they encourage team work and respect and always has their primary focus on improving the quality of life of the individuals we serve."

Carla Houck-RN – BSN Nurse Trainer

I have had the opportunity to work with many departments within the agency, allowing me to create wonderful working relationships with many great people. Community Bridges is made up of kind and passionate professionals dedicated to helping improve the quality of life to all those we serve. There isn’t a day that goes by that this work doesn’t make me smile and for that I am grateful to be a part of the Community Bridges team!"

Gabrielle Doucet"I came to Community Bridges in 2015 as an intern.  After my internship, I was able to use the experience I gained to provide direct support to an individual with a vendor agency for over two years.  I returned to Community Bridges in 2017 as a Direct Support Float Staff in the RDS Behavioral Program.  After a few short months, I had been asked to provide direct support with an individual that had requested to work with me due to the successes we experienced together.  In early 2018, I had finished my Master’s Degree and was looking to advance my career.  Community Bridges worked with me to find the perfect fit for my next step.  A trainee position was created for me in order to set me up for success. I am now a full time Behavior Specialist.  I am very thankful for the opportunities that Community Bridges has given me to allow for me to grow not only in the company and in my career, but as a person as well."
